Bangalore Blast has been done near Chinnaswamy stadium today on April 17, 2010. These two low intensity Bangalore Bomb Blasts outside the Chinnaswamy stadium Bangalore has been reported with 8 people injured. These eight people includes 5 policemen. The cricket matched started after some delay.
2 blasts near the Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road near Chinnaswamy Stadium, just a few minutes ahead of the RCB vs Mumbai Indians match. Shankar Bidari has said it was a low intensity bomb in the generator.
Shankar Bidari, Commissioner of Police addressed the press to say it may have been a bomb placed within the generator room, but the matter is still being investigated near Gate #12., just minutes ahead of the Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indian s match, which was the last match in the city.
The blast, occurred at 3.15 pm, near the stadium that was packed with over 30,000 spectators who had come to watch the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.
