Birla Institute of Technology & Science, ( BITSAT ) is an Institution located in Pilani, Rajasthan, India.

* BITSAT is the computer based online test for entrance to one of the most reputed technical institutes in India.

* The Institute will try its best to accommodate all girl candidates at their first preference of test center for appearing in BITSAT.

* Around 1,50,000 students are going to take BITSAT-2009 and only 2000(<2%) of them are going to be selected

* BITSAT is the first complete online based admission procedure for any undergraduate course. These online tests are conducted at 18 centers in India, during the months of May and June every year.

BITSAT is a 3 hour duration test offered to candidates on computers at dedicated computer centres at different cities spread across India. The test has objective type (multiple choice) questions only. The various areas in which the candidates are tested are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English and Logical Reasoning.

BITSAT 2010 Exam Pattern

There will be 150 questions in all. The number of questions in each part is as follows:

BITSAT-2010 application starts                                                             : 30th January 2010
Test center allotment and announcement to candidates                : by 15th February 2010
Candidates to reserve Test dates                                                              : 18th Feb. – 10th March 2010
Candidates to download the Hall tickets                                               : 10th April – 30th April 2010
BITSAT Online tests                                                                                        :   10th May – 10th June 2010
Admit List and Wait List announcement                                              : 1st July 201
