The Commonwealth Games 2010 is a multinational, multi-sport event which features competitions involving thousands of elite athletes from members of the Commonwealth of Nations.
The Commonwealth Games Organised every four years, they are the third-largest multi-sport event in the world, after the Summer Olympic Games and the Asian Games.
The 2010 Commonwealth Games are the nineteenth Commonwealth Games. The Games are scheduled to be held in Delhi, India between 3 October and 14 October 2010.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi.
