Oscar winning music composer A R Rahman on Saturday launched the theme song of the Commonwealth Games with a rendering of “Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya” at a glittering ceremony
A R Rahman sung the song for in front of a gathering which included Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and CWG Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi.
The song titled ‘Swagatham‘ has lyrics ‘Yaaro, India bula liya’ is all about energy, winning and don’t give up.

Talking about the song, Rahman said: “It has not been easy. Got the first lines six months ago and a lot of modifications have gone in, post that. I kept tweaking it and finally finished it last night,” Rahman added.
He had been working on the composition of the song for the past six months.
