IPL New Teams 2011 IPL New Team Bidding Pune, Maharashtra and Kochi, Kerala

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a Twenty20 cricket competition initiated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). IPL presently includes 8 teams or franchises, consisting of players from different countries. From 2011 there will be 10 teams.

Today IPL Chauiman Lalit Modi has announced for the two new IPL teams addition which are IPL team Pune, Maharashtra and IPL team Kochi Kerala. In the IPL bidding 2010 there were 5 qualified bidders out of which Sahara India group grabbed the Franchisee of Pune based IPL Pune team while consortium of business house Rendezvous sports world limited has fetched the franchise of the Kerala based Kochi IPL team.
