ITBP invited Applications from Indian Citizens for appointment of various post (jobs)
Eligibility conditions:
Physical Standard : (a) Height: 170 cms. (b) Chest : 80 Cms. Unexpended 85 cms expanded (minimum expansion 5 cms) (v) Weight
Educational Qualification : Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Education Board.
Selection Process:
The eligible candidates are issued Admit cards to appear in recruitment test. The date and place are indicated in Admit Cards. Candidates have to undergo the following process:
(i) Physical Measurement: Candidates who are found eligible are screened first foi height, chest weight and preliminary medical check up.
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (25 marks): The candidates who are found physically and medically fit are required to pass physical Efficiency Test consisting of following events:-
(a) One mile race to be completed in six and half minute,
(b) 11 feet long jump (3 chances to be given)
© 3′/2 feet high jump (3 chances to be given)
Note: The candidates who exhibit excellence of a higher standards in PET are awarded higher marks.
( iii) Written Test (50 marks): The candidates who qualify in the physical efficiency test are required to appear in a written test which consists of objective as well as narrative tests. The question paper consists of question on general awareness/general knowledge, knowledge of elementary mathematics, ability to observe distinguish patterns and basic knowledge in Hindi/English. The paper can be answered either in Hindi or English. The written tests are held immediately after PHT if over for all those who qualify.
(iv) A maximum of 10 marks are awarded to candidates who have to their credit achievement in sports, adventure sports, NCC, Scouts & guides and other extra curricular activities. Claims of achievements should be supported by documents and participation level should tit least state level
(v) Interview (15 marks)
(vi) The selection of candidates is made in order of merit The cut of percent Pay Scale of marks to qualify is 35% for general Exam and 33% for SC/ST/OBC
(vii) Medical Examination : Candidates selected in order of merit arc put through
detailed medical examination to assess their fitness.
