The Punjab Government has organized the 2010 Kabaddi World Cup tournament in Punjab. The match is hosted by Punjab Government at different venues of the state from April 3 to April 12.
The opening match will take place in Patiala stadium and the closing ceremony will take place at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana on April 12.
The team winning the competition will receive a cash award of Rs.1 crore, and the first runner-up will bag Rs.51 lakh. The second and third runner-up teams will take home Rs.21 and Rs.10 lakh respectively.
