Kiran Rao Wedding Marriage
Aamir khan fell in love with Kiran Rao during the shooting of Lagaan and Kiran Rao was an assistant to director of “Lagaan” movies. Amir khan married Kiran rao under the Special Marriage Act, on December 28, 2005. Their marriage was registered at Bandra Registration office.
Aamir Khan’s wedding to his girlfriend Kiran Rao was celebrated in a star hotel in Panchgani, Maharashtra. It was attended by many filmy people including Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee and special guest Sachin Tendulkar.
The security was very tight at the venue mediapersons and outsiders were prevented from approaching the venue. Only the special invitees were allowed inside.
Aamir was in an off-white kurta and a South Indian silk mundu and Kiran Rao was in a purple-and-red Sabyasachi lehnga-choli.
His wife Kiran Rao has a special pet name for Aamir Khan. She fondly calls her husband “Chhote”.

Kiran Rao Biography
Kiran Rao is an Indian film producer, screenwriter, and director. She is the wife of Aamir Khan.
Kiran Rao attended La Martiniere School in Kolkata and graduated with an economics major from the Sophia College for Women (Bombay) in 1995. She attended the Social Communications Media course at the Sophia Polytechnic for two months, but then left for Delhi. She got her Masters at AJKMCRC at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.
Kiran Rao started her career as an assistant director in the epic movie Lagaan directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, whom she also assisted later on Swades: We, the People. Lagaan was nominated for 74th Academy Awards in the foreign language film category.
Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao is pregnant
Aamir Khan is going to be third time lucky. We hear that the perfectionist star’s wife is three months pregnant. Kiran was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai for fever, where it was discovered.
Sources at the hospital, where she is consulting a doctor for her pregnancy, reveal that Rao was admitted on May 31 for fever.
“She was admitted to the fourth floor of the old hospital building. She was in the hospital for a week, ” said a source, on the condition of anonymity.
