Maruti Suzuki India is going to launch “Maruti Eco”, its electric car in India. Maruti Suzuki Eco vehicle will be on display in the Auto Expo 2010, in Delhi next month and is expected to be launched in 2010.
Price of Maruti Eco in India:
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Eeco MPV at an introductory price of Rs 2.59 lakh for the 5-seater standard model, Rs 2.89 lakh for the 5-seater AC model and Rs. 2.75 lakhs for the 7-seater variant.
Maruti Eeco is powered by a 1196cc petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox that produces maximum power of 73 Bhp at 6000 rpm with the maximum torque of 101 Nm at 3000 rpm. This 1196cc power-plant delivers high engine performance and acceleration with excellent fuel efficiency.
ARAI test report says that Maruti Eeco offers mileage of 15.1kmpl.
