Rakht Charitra is a two-part Indian biographical movie inspired from the life of Andhra Pradesh politician Paritala Ravi, played by Vivek Oberoi. It is produced and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. It stars Vivek Oberoi, Abhimanyu Singh, Shatrughan Sinha, Sushant Singh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajendra Gupta, Radhika Apte, Zarina Wahab and Ashwini Kalsekar.
The movie has been shot in three languages – Hindi, Telugu as Rakta Charitra (Part 1 and 2) Tamil as Ratha Charitram (only one part). The first part of the movie released on 22 October in Hindi and Telegu. The second part will release on November 19, 2010 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
