Indian stars cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has joined Twitter. The news has created sensation among his fans across the country.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was among the first ones to welcome Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter. She wrote that the god of Cricket has joined Twitter and it is a cause for celebration.
The cricketer has got more than 20000 followers on Twitter already and the number is growing by leaps and bounds.
A number of fans of Sachin Tendulkar thought it was a prank played by an imposter. However, when Zaheer Khan his teammate confirmed the authenticity of his Twitter account, the queries were dissolved. Sachin Tendulkar has also bought a BlackBerry phone recently and he is using it to access the web and post Tweets presumably.
