The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a Twenty20 cricket competition created by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The third season of IPL is scheduled to be held in India from 12 March 2010 over a period of 45 days.
The third season opened in January 2010 with the auction for players.
