Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is conducted each year by TNSF for the students who aspire to do M.Tech, MBA, MCA, ME as their master degree course.
The Anna University (Chennai) will conduct the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). It is mandatory for students aspiring to join MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, M.Arch and MPlan postgraduate degree courses to appear for the TANCET.
The TANCET will be conducted in various centres in Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Karaikudi, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Chidambaram, Salem, Thanjavur, Villupuram, Virudhunagar, Nagercoil, Madurai and Karaikudi.
TANCET ELIGIBILITY2012
1. MBA: A pass in any Degree with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern or a pass in any Degree with 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern.
2. MCA: A pass in any degree with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern with Mathematics at + 2 level or Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or a pass in 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
Important Dates(Tentative):
- Commencement of Registration through Internet on 01/02/2012
- Last date for Registration at co-ordinating centres and Registration through Internet on 23/02/2012
- Last date for Registration at Chennai Centre and receipt of completed application (Registered through Internet) on 25/02/2012
- M.B.A Entrance Examination on 31/03/2012 F.N
- M.C.A Entrance Examination on 31/03/2012 A.N
- M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan Entrance Examination 01/04/2012 F.N
- Announcement of Entrance Test Results on 4th Week of April 2012
