Tees Maar Khan is an 2010 action comedy film directed by Farah Khan. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles and Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor make special appearances in the film.
The film is set to release on 24 December 2010. The theatrical trailer and title song of the film were released on UTV Motion Pictures YouTube channel on 4 November 2010 for promotional purposes.
The Censor Board have objected to Katrina’s bare midriff and also the name “Sheila” being used in song “Sheila Ki Jawaani.” Secondly, the shifting of the screening of the film from Mumbai to Delhi. Thirdly, the revising committee advised the replacement or deletion of the word “pencho” with “pinchoo.” Lastly, they have also demanded for the replacement of the word tawaiff from the dialogue “tawaif ki luti izzat bachaana… aur Tees Maar Khan ko kaid karna… dono bekaar hai.” Altogether the board have demanded four cuts from the film.
